What were the strengths of my AS coursework?
- In my opinion my AS coursework went very well. I was pleased that I worked with Lauren and Amber as we worked successfully and cohesively.
- We all took part in producing ideas and different posts for our blogs which meant that not only one person was left to do everything, the work load was balanced.
- Additionally, the ways in which I presented my coursework on my blog were very creative, and I aim to sustain this during my A2 coursework.
What could I have improved on?
- Firstly, I feel that personally, my time management for posting blog posts was poor. This is because I left a lot of the posts to the last minute, this meant that I had to spend hours and hours per night doing my research and planning to sustain enough posts. I also feel that because I would spend hours at a time creating posts, some of them lacked in detail and content.
- As a group, our time management was poor when it came to filming our final product. Our final product did not get filmed until a very late date which meant that we didn't have time to go back and re film parts that we didn't like or that didn't work well. Although this was not our fault (we had actors who could not make it) we should have used our initiative and just filmed what we could or we should have just changed the plot.
Targets for my A2 coursework:
- Document and create more blog posts of every decision I make. Doing this will make my research and planning to the examiner appear much clearer, this will enable the examiner to see our progress from nothing to our final product.
- My next target is to keep up do date with my blog posts so that they don't end up piling up and I have to rush everything at the end. I want to make sure that all of my posts have enough detail and content as possible.
